Did the 270's every have a "mid life" reno? Like the 378's FRAM, the 210's, 140's?

When I lived there, it was the Wyuna (?) and she was a lot bigger than that.

It's got to be a little sad to see her coming up for decom as soon as her OPC is built. Hey, I served on the Diligence and Resolute and I dread the day they are put down. At least I'll be dead and gone by the time the 140's are replaced. Was part of the commissioning crew on the Mobile Bay. We are having our 45th anniversary reunion this year, August, in Sturgeon Bay. About 80% of the orig crew shows up and a few, like me, who showed up after it was commissioned make the trip also. It's one great platform. You guys in Tacoma did an outstanding job building one kickass ship.

I remember it well, the big white box on the deck housed 4 large blue generators, that made enough power to actually power a small city. This room was so loud. I remember the internals the engine room, so many memories of this ship

This PV Nepean the PV Corsair was the one wrecked on the Lonsdale reef Keith. The orange windlass denotes the difference in the two vessels. Corsair did not have one. @PaulBKal.
